Yes at least I know what the HR person is saying to me is actually what they are doing @Snowie I honestly don't care which school it is at but I do hope to have a 3/4 so I know what I am teaching. I have had a 3/4 the most and know the curriculum well so that gives me an advantage under difficult time frames.
How are you doing Hon?

Well fingers and toes crossed for 3/4 @Zoe7. Especially with the late notice, it would be much easier for you.
I am going okish today. Not a great day, lots of gulit and I'm failing moments here. Hopefully it will pass soon enough.
How are you going hon?

That is not good about the guilt and I'm failing moments @Snowie I could say that you are certainly not failing but I also know once those feelings kick in it is hard to talk ourselves out of it. You are doing what you can Hon and that has to be enough. Go easy on yourself - you have actually come a long way and I very much see that in you.
I am doing alright - just about to have a visit from my sister so will get back to you more later.
Hugs and hugs

Thanks @MDT - still not heard from boss & only 2 more days before I finish. I did call potential new employer who does intend to employ me apparently - still awaiting formal offer via email. I will read all other posts to catch up on everyone’s news later.

You are doing everything you possibly can to get work @MDT You really are a determined young man and I love the way you approach all this. Keep it up and I have no doubt all your efforts will pay off.
I just had my sister come around to watch the cricket with me - she doesn't have sport in her foxtel package so she comes around when games are on there to watch with me - there are plenty of times she comes in winter to watch the football as well.
She was pleased that HR made contact and just as pleased that I stood my ground with what I wanted to do this year as well. Something will come through in the next couple of days - I have to believe that otherwise I will send myself into a spin and that will not be good for me at all. SO thinking positively here as that is really all I can do.
@Sam3 that totally sucks that you haven't heard anything from your boss - it is hard to move forward when there are things up in the air still - hoping that all gets sorted out for you too very quickly.

We could definitely do with some of your rain down here @Shaz51 - fires still burning out of control in a few different areas. Expecting a tiny amouont of rain (maybe) on Thursday but it doesn't look like it will be anywhere near enough to help with the fires.
I hope to find out something tomorrow but that will depend on when the Principals HR have emailed get back to her. Fingers crossed here I hear something tomorrow too. At least after conversations today I know that HR is actually doing something and that she also knows exactly what I would prefer to be teaching in terms of grades and days of the week.
