My current conductor does not coif his hair and I respect him (mostly for other reasons but hair ala naturel helps) .. he also drives an old stationwagon (which gives him more pointsin my book) but is still internationally VERY respected.
There was a conductor who was is nicknamed foetus for his sticky up hair and I told him to stop acting like a 2 year old and grow up .. I was so proud of myself for at least verbalising and standing my ground to a fellow who had been terrorising singers like a little Hitler for years.
Never been into Johnny Cash though. Sorry @Bill16
