@Zoe7  I've been through something similar on the forums a couple of times in the past.  It jolted me and I stepped back from the forums for a while.  Then I realized that there is a lot more positive on the forums than those small minority of  .......  can't find the right word there.  So these days if certain people show up I disappear from that thread.   I also shoot through when certain triggering topics for me come up.   It strains my connection with people who retain connection with those people too, so sometimes those connections become more distanced.  But overall I still feel a real benefit from being on the forums, just have to have some boundaries about it, as with everything else in this life of monitoring and managing MH issues.   The friends I have here far and away outweigh and out number the ppl I (edited : remove myself)  from.   And the support given and received far and away outweighs any criticism.

So I hope it doesn't seem I'm preaching, just gently encouraging from my personal experience.

You have so much love here and are so valued by such a supportive group.  We might be anonymous but we are still real people who care very much.  We will all be here for you whenever and however you want/need us to be.

More love, Eth xxx
