Hi SANE Forums Community,
As the year comes to an end, we are looking towards next year and the discussions we will be hosting in January 2022!
From all of us here at SANE, thank you to each and every member and reader who joined a discussion, event or activity with SANE this year!
We held 24 Topic Tuesdays, 15 Online Peer Groups, and many many more week long, day long and event based discussions. The richness of these discussions comes from your generosity to share your experiences with others, and I want to send a huge and sincere thank you ๐
We hope to see you again for more events in 2022!
What's happening in January 2022?
Topic Tuesday
We will be taking a short break with Topic Tuesday over the new year, and returning with our first Topic Tuesday event on the 25th of January.
25th January: Supporting loved ones living with BPD (Friends, Family and Carers Forum)
We heard from the community that supporting a loved one living with BPD is a topic that many people wanted to discuss. Please join us on the Friends, Family and Carers Forum as we talk about supporting a loved one living with Borderline Personality Disorder. More information to come in the new year.
Mindful Mondays
This month we are trialling a new activity on the forums, Mindful Mondays. Keep an eye out these next two days for more information about the activity and how you can get involved.
Every Monday, we will be posting a new Mindfulness activity ๐ If you have an activity you would like to share, let us know if you would like to lead a Monday Mindfulness activity!
Setting wellbeing goals
Prioritising wellbeing over the holiday period can be challenging, so are we approach a new month we will be talking about how we can set wellbeing goals.
Online Peer Groups
We are excited to announce that Online Peer Groups will be increasing in frequency from fortnightly to weekly as of January 2022! This means more opportunities to connect with peers on topics of interest to you ๐
We are starting off the new year with the first topic: Let's talk about recovery. If you are interested to join, make sure sure to register for an account here: https://www.sane.org/peer-support/peer-group-chat
Share your ideas
We are going to be keeping this thread open throughout the year for you to share your thoughts on the topics you would like to see in 2022! So far, we have been able to plan ahead to bring the discussions that you want to see to the forums next year ๐
