A thread for showing arts and crafts that we love. We have a great thread for showing our art and craft in craft corner. It's well worth a look π. I thought it might be nice to share things that we've fallen in love with on social media, surfing the net or a photo of something inspirational. Sometimes seeing something new opens a whole new world of arts and crafts that you haven't seen before. Happy looking and posting π

Hi @Teej and everyone. Great idea for a thread.
I meant to post these pics yesterday, but, got sidetracked. 12 tapestries by Raphael, they are on display as it would have been his 500th birthday or something. The size and scale of them are pretty amazing and also the longevity.

So glad you found this thread @Appleblossom , @Gazza75 .
Those translucent waves has me mesmerised @Appleblossom . Looking forward to seeing lots of art that you find. It always is interesting π.
@Gazza75 Those tapestries are H U G E. I wasn't aware of them. It's mind blowing to think they are still holding together. It would be amazing to see in real life.

Her website is stunning.
I found her website after seeing her son on Q & A. She can be proud of him too.

Oh wow @Appleblossom. Amazing. It's so great when you find the connection/respect with the person and their add. It adds another dimension. I haven't been adding the artist name which you do so well. I'll have to try to do that more as it's respectful and allows us to find and follow new artists.
These are my latest loves. I keep thinking of @Maggie for a few of them
This artis is Vladimir Verheyen. She has posted close ups of this piece as well. It's pretty amazing. I love the look of quilting in this piece
Artist Jane Perkins
Looking forward to seeing others inspirations too.
