Thank you all so very much for your lovely gifts, kind thoughts and birthday wishes for today. Reaching 60 is no mean feat .. I tell you. There were times in the past, I thought I wouldnt make it this far.

Sorry I havent responded sooner, but I have read all your lovely messages as they've come in and appreciate every one of them.

I am heading out for dinner in town soon, and am actually quite looking forward to it. And just for once I dont have to drive. Yay! A friend of hubbys, whom we invited to come too, has offered to drive us. This means I can enjoy a drink or two.

Thanks also to @Former-Member, for your message. When I saw a notification with your name on it in my email inbox this morning, my first thought was 'oh no ... what have I done now'. It was a relief and a pleasure to read that it was merely you wishing me a happy birthday. Phew ... 😂

I will try to get back to you all later and let you know how dinner was.
