Good stuff @TAB its nice frequenting places to do with our personal history. It can seem like so long ago and yet bring back so many memories! I have not been past the family home in over 10 years. But sometimes look on the internet for the high school I belonged to, old school friends and even neighbours. I'm glad you had fun driving around your old stomping ground! The future can seem so foreboding at times but its where we must be heading even though we may be able to draw some measure of comfort with the familiarity of the past...I hope you are enjoying your stay in Adelaide anyway

I hope your day is going well.
@Rosemary4 I’m also struggling with Mother’s Day as it’s been nearly 20 years in June since I lost my mum to cancer. I’m thinking of you and sending you positive thoughts that you will be okay. Don’t forget to reach out for help if you need it!
As for me and other stuff, it doesn’t help that I think my car is starting to play up again so I’m very nervous and stressed about every little thing that I hear or smell that could be wrong with it. I plan on seeing if the mechanic can book it in for a service this week once I call them tomorrow morning and then wait to see how much it will cost me. I think I have PTSD towards cars now after having several cars have issues and it’s really affecting me with driving and so forth. I’m not sure how to handle this to be honest.
Here’s hoping that things improve for me!
Take care and stay safe!
