@Glisten I grew up listening to Gordon Lightfoot - one of mums' favourites.
I do however prefer this version of the Edmund Fitzgerald -

I went through a stage a few years ago when rediscovered this. Couldn't stop listening to it. There was another version that was okay. Was on that Great Lakes show on tv. Just gross . 100 yo ships and bad weather like yeah. I used to be scared swimming past the blue line and have nightmares about falling through missing planks on jetties. Sea can be scary. Like that George Clooney movie and you think oh he's the star, he'll be okay .. oops 😬..

I still used to swim in sea tho
@Glisten was an ep of 80s comedy cop show Sledge Hammer thought was written for me. Key scene was on a lighthouse on balcony. So, 2 main fears ok combo.. Heights and the sea 🌊 lol..

@TAB do you get vertigo at heights?
I don’t trust balcony railings or stair banisters.
Tree height and house roof, I’m ok. Nothing over 2 story buildings, unless it’s an attic.
My daughter lives in 7th floor apartment.
She got vertigo. Dr says it happens a lot to people living in apartments.
