I am impressed that you buy so many good books @PeppiPatty. I am more tight .. I tend to stick to the net at the moment for non-fiction ... I figure I will find it online some how ...
Started looking at Stanford utube lecture on Consciousness and Physiology (Tony Nader this time) .....then saw that we had a similar more popular one from my alma mater ... yay ... so now I am looking at Susan Greenfield... and checking out audience to see if I know people.

I did not have enough time to get into fantasy .. lol .. I really enjoyed Anne McCaffrey series BC (Before Children) but really havent had time since to indulge it a lot ... more scientific bent of mind ... will read Charles Darwin etc .. that said, I did read a little of the new YA fantasy that my kids were reading to keep up with them ... to be able to relate etc.

I would love to hear you sing @Appleblossom, the translation for Weihnact Oratorio is Christmas Oratorio.
I love the sound of the German language, I wish I would have learned how to speak German, I can only read some of it.
