Re: Henry's Landing Strip & Hangar

Hello  @Alicat  and @Anastasia , @Emelia8 , @Appleblossom

and others visiting the "Hangar"

Seems that the "Hangar" party has been postponed to another time, possibly the weekend. I'm not sure that my forum address messages were properly sent because of the way that I have transferred them to word processor and then "copy and pasted" back into the Reply box. Consequently, I will have to review my method. - Live and learn, I guess!!!

Regarding planes and progress, it amazes me to reflect on the speed of development; from kites to the moon in 60 years.

Though I am intrigued by the speed of development; as I believe I may have stated and indicated through the thread, I am also, or probably more interested in styles and applications. Hence the references to "Flying Boats" or "Seaplanes" and variations such as float planes, as used in Alaska and other places not easily accessible with regular ground landing aircraft. As well as other variations such as "ground effect vehicles" or aircraft, and hovercraft, the latter seeming to have fallen out of favour, except for specialised small operator and military applications.

Your reference to the Albatros(s) {depending on the nationality and plane carrying the name type}, lead me on a fervour of activity regarding the various types. This is one that I like:

I certainly hope that you do have an interest in air-craft, if not, I apologise for being quite so expansive.

I'm about to leave for a singing group so I shall post this message and look forward to catching up again. Please let me know what your interests are and hopefully, we may find other connections between us all.

Though aircraft and flying are obviously of interest to me, I would like to see other ideas presented on this thread. In that way, it may be seen as more widely inclusive. A place where we can talk about our own situations, concerns and issues that we face, but also a place that we can have some fun, while showing respect, courtesy and nurturing care toward each other. It is certainly my feeling that the thread has functioned that way so far.

With My Best Wishes

@HenryX

@HenryX

Enjoy your singing.

There is alot of music that references Albatrosses.

I was also thinking of you when I read this article

Not sure what you think.

@Former-Member Sounds like a very difficult time for your D.  Sad that even when she does great, she doubts herself.  Look after you.  She needs mum.

Re: Henry's Landing Strip & Hangar

Mums understand mums. Thanks @Appleblossom 🌺🌸❤️

I try not to cry. And try and be positive. I'm having trouble keeping up on here, so, if I haven't replied to someone, please forgive me

Re: Henry's Landing Strip & Hangar

Re: Henry's Landing Strip & Hangar

I guess alcohol doesn't help. Not at all having a "go" at you, but I know my health is bad when I drink. Please don't be offended.   It's a fact that alcohol affects our health. I tried to send you the info that really helped me. But, like I said, the messages are gone. I probably did something wrong. Haha! @TAB

Re: Henry's Landing Strip & Hangar

Going to bed here @Former-Member night

Re: Henry's Landing Strip & Hangar
