At some stage during the week I am on all classes from prep to grade 6 apart from one prep class @Teej I have spent the most time with the 1/2s and grade 6s so far and the teachers on those classes have been wonderfully welcoming - all teachers have been but I feel drawm to those 1/3 and grade 6 teachers the most.
I didn't break my neck but did damage to vertebrae and nerves. In the healing process nerves fused together and I still get some pain from that. Much like my lower back I have arthritis in my neck and get regular headaches when that flares up. Pain killers and anti-inflammatories help but don't always take away all the pain.
It is not good that your son will miss out on work for so long. I hope he can get through without getting paid for that long. ...but as you said - he needs to do it otherwise he will have much bugger issues further down the track - not a good situation for him either way though

Mine ate stoic too @Teej, and have walked around with broken bones until they didn’t heal and x-rays discovered the breaks ..... and me with a broken toe. Got told it wasn’t broken cos I wouldn’t have been walking on it - it was broken through but had stayed in place, dodging what is usually a surgery .....
Today was lovely .... and all quiet on the eastern front here .... at the mo .....

Hugs for the moving out ones @Teej ..... my youngest would have moved out if she could have, and next eldest was supposed to get his feet under him, then leave, on doctor’s orders (big ouch there !!) but it hasn’t happened, and he is under another dr now anyway ....
And yeah, wonky knees, dislocations, torn rotator cuff here a couple of weeks ago 👋 .... I hear ya !! Sad for your boy too .....
And hugs n hugs for you @CheerBear .....
💜❤️

I knew you where injured while you were o/s @Faith-and-Hope but it sounds more serious than I thought it was. Are you recovering okay Hon or is there ongoing issues?

Recovered surprisingly fast @Zoe7 .... nothing to worry about Hon. I’m all good 👍. It was a minor tear and with hypermobility one of the “perks” is fast healing for relatively minor injuries. Major injuries tend to heal slowly, in contrast, but I haven’t had any of those ....

That is a relief that you have healed okay @Faith-and-Hope You do worry me Hon but I suppose that is natural when you care about someone so much
You are under strict instructions (from me) to not get any major injuries - we don't want you to have to do any of that slow healing - you have enough to deal with!
How was your evening out?
