Just checking in.

Re: Just checking in.

@CheerBear  This quote might be a good one to remember. I studied her when I did women’s Ed and had lots of respect for her. Very different journey to you but the message is powerful.

I know the trusting your gut feels really tricky still but I’ve watched you grow and your instincts become more trustworthy. The key to this is not all at the same time. She is a woman who has achieved great things including raising a family. You have the time to achieve all the great things you want.

Re: Just checking in.

How is that assignment going Hon - any progress today @Sans911 ?

Re: Just checking in.

My mum's here now, so can't do anymore. I did about half a paragraph of the heading that I was talking about earlier. My assignment is about transference & counter transference.

Re: Just checking in.

See above @Zoe7

Re: Just checking in.

That is a tough topic @Sans911 Not surprised you are having a little difficulty with it. It is good that you have made a start though - maybe get some more done later when your mum leaves. Keep us updated hey Smiley Very Happy

hugs @Sans911 HeartHeart

Re: Just checking in.

@Sans911 @I had a quick look online at a Psychology Today article about that.  Very big topic by the looks, but quite fascinating too.

Re: Just checking in.

It's also been very triggering as a lot of the research around the subject has been around bpd and transference/countertransference. I've trawled through some journal articles that talk about master manipulators, how challenging and difficult they are to manage and treat. It took me back to the times when I was so desperately in crisis, I did some things and acted in ways I wasn't proud of.

So it hasn't been an easy assignment at all @Zoe7.
