Just been diagnosed
I don't know how to start this off, but I'm just looking for some healthy ways to deal with what my shrink has diagnosed me with; complex trauma, and d.i.d) ....

Hi, I only joined this forum tonight but I hope I can give a little support.
For me, on a normal day, music and long walks have been really helpful.
I have bipolar disorder btw. I'd like to think that over the years, I've gotten better at handling my episodes. From my experience, my meds helped in calming me during my manic episodes. And then writing in my journal or talking with a couple of trusted friends helped me in my depressive episodes.

Thanks and I hope all of you are well.
Yep. I agree, sleep is definitely important.
It also became an indicator for me.
So when I find myself oversleeping, I try to counter it through little ways such as note taking and goal setting which I allow myself to do in a few days or even weeks.
But when I find myself pulling an all nighter, I try to remind myself that it's not beneficial and really just find ways to make me sleep.
