thanks @Determined, @Former-Member, @Appleblossom
awww I was not going to add this but we got a phone call from MIL and she is in a lot of pains , but with the meds she is on her kidneys levels have gone down very low and quickly
I have learnt that there are 3 ways kidney levels can go ( slowly ) , ( very fast which MIL has)
and mine ( big drop and then slowly goes down after that over the years )

You could check.with your GP but there are private telepsychiatry services - video consultations for both pdocs and therapy which are often bulk billed for patients in "remote" regions (as set out by Medicare). This might be an option worth considering.

hello @Former-Member
I have done 2 hospital link up with our hospital to the Kidney specialist so far instead of the travelling , like that idea
asked the nurse if we can do that with mum but they said "no"
when mr shaz get his MI appt , it will be at our hospital , he really wants to see the cairns specialist instead of the ones that are 30 kms away
but I am hoping they are different people

Tele consults are something that suits some more than others @Shaz51. I would suspect most helpful if one sees the doc in person from time to time. Not sure how I feel about them.
