Dear @greenpea ,

that sounds so sad, @Appleblossom @has given you great feedback. 

I try to remember that things seen through theyes of a child can seem greatly exaggerated and they feel powerless to Change it at the time.  It is really good that he can express this to you, he must feel safe to be able to do that.  Just keep the lines of communication open for him and reassure him as best you can about how you are now.

The problem with trauma is that it might change shape from generation to generation, but is very hard to stop it effects.

just saw this my sister @greenpea 

years ago my mr shaz said that i was scared of him -- I told him that i know when you mr shaz goes off your meds , soo please stay on them 

even now he will stop but i see a difference after one day and tell him to take them 

I think the fact you're reflecting on this at all shows what a loving, kind, and caring person you truly are., i agree and with @Appleblossom , @saltandpepper
