I’ve had a huge few days @Jynx. I gave myself stuff to do everyday on my break. I’ve almost done it all.
All I need to do is grocery shopping and food prep.
I’m exhausted. But it’s been a huge achievement for me. I can see a difference in my house. You know those rooms where you just dump stuff? 2 outta 3 are cleaned up.
I’m physically and mentally exhausted. My head is all over the shop. I’m trying to look at what I have done but every part of me is just tired. As the night wears on so does my mood.
Did you get up to any shenanigans over the weekend?

@Captain24 oh my GOODNESS!! So proud of you!!
Wanna tell me about the process? I am finally getting myself ready to tackle THE BIG ONE in my house but having trouble figuring out where to begin... 🤔
I would be exhausted too if I were you!! Hope you're kicking your feet up?
Nah no shenanigans, alas 😂

I just started with the floor @Jynx. There was lots of empty cardboard boxes from online shopping! Then I just kept going with the floor. Once I could open the cupboard I started clearing off the bed. Lots of stuff got thrown out. Yes.. that was hard!! That was one room. The other I built shelves and put some Lego on them and that started making room. It did take me a whole day on each room but at least I can now vacuum the floors! It looks a lot better and I have given everything a place.
Im just sitting on the lounge. The dogs are now having a sleep after their massive fight so it’s peaceful!
No shenanigans is boring. I look forward to your life! 😜

I’ve only just started watching it. @rav3n. I’m enjoying it.
I’ll go shopping in the morning and cook meals for work and then re-clean the kitchen. Plus I have a psych appointment but mostly it’ll be nothing.
Groceries can wait! Do you just do your own shopping or for the family?
I feel like I accomplished heaps today but it has taken its toll on me physically and mentally. I just had a massive dog fight so maybe it won’t be a restful afternoon! They are fighting over the same bone.
I started to learn at 25. I did ballet, jazz, tap, musicals theatre, modern. Sometimes she would do a drawing of what she wanted and I’d have to come up with it. It got quite challenging at times!
So the gym doesn’t energise you? I’m glad you found a gym more comfortable for you. One of the gyms here has a ladies only section. That’s the one I’m thinking of but it’s the confidence of going and speaking to them and the fact that I’m so fat and unfit and no that’s not an exaggeration. I’m worried everyone would judge me.
I was doing better at juggling my sleep but as my MH has deteriorated so has my recovery time.
That sounds cosy. My room is nice, I have a comfy bed and just a dresser and tall boy in it. I have a walk in robe. I spend most of my time in the living room though. My favourite room is the front room, it has a cosy homey feeling about it but I don’t use it often.
The dogs have the sulks now!
How was your day?
most times i get groceries for the family, but sometimes i just get stuff for myself. how about you? @Captain24
haha sounds like sibling behaviour!! do Jett and Pix fight often?
you've defs accomplished heaps today, i want some of your productive energy pls!!
oh woww, that's nice variety! i'm not a dancer myself, but i've always found ballet so lovely to watch. was it the hardest to learn? did you have a fav dance style out of them?
i had the same fear before i signed up too - i just felt like everyone who gyms is gonna be so fit and judge me. it's hard to work around that fear, i made my sis come with me at the start to gain some confidence, but now i go alone. when i signed up, the lady who handled my paperwork was very understanding - and she even provided me the opportunity to share any fears/worries i had, and then validated me. i wish all gyms have people like her.
oh nice! what's the front room like, is it similar to the living room? besides my bedroom, my living room is where i spend most my time too mainly for the tv and couch.
my day was okay, didn't get much done just drove my mum to her appt and then felt really tired so took a nap. the nap was amazing tho haha.

I live on my own so all the groceries are mine. @rav3n. Do you eat meals together as a family or do your own separate thing?
They don’t fight often anymore. But Pix is really pissed at him tonight. She’s giving him the side eye! It’s pretty funny cause Jett is oblivious to it.
My favourite hands down was tap! Ballet was really good and the technique was hard but it was so awesome when I progressed to pointe shoes. The ones where ballerinas stand on their toes. Of I also did a competition for a tap solo and got first place!
I have no one to go with. I do have a friend that goes but she would just show me up. She’s one of those that has to ‘one up’ you.
That sounds like a really supportive environment. There’s a gym at the hospital that I go to a the instructor is amazing and started me off with just 10 minutes and the let me go. But I don’t have that comfort here.
The front room (on the plan) is the media room. It’s just like a second lounge room. I wasn’t sure what to expect when it was labeled media room. But it turned out awesome in the end.
Ph that’s right.. you had to get up early. I’m glad the nap was really good.
Any plans for tomorrow?

Hmmm never would have thought to start with the floor @Captain24 but that is a good method!! Did you toss stuff into trays or boxes or something? Wondering if I pull things out and sort one at a time, or line up tubs and sort into them in the room.... ach, maybe I am overthinking it!! Finding excuses to procrastinate lol
Aww doggo fight noooo 🥺
Ahaha alrighty duly noted, I shall have to pop 'shenanigans' into my diary for this weekend! 😜

I started with the floor so that I could walk into the room. @Jynx. Having the floor clearer made it feel like I had achieved something. I have a built in wardrobe in that room so once I could open the door I just started rearranging stuff so that I had room to put everything. The things that were junk went out into the hallway. I had to get rid of it as I use the hallway to get to my room. Once I put the shelves up in the other room that helped with space too. I still have one to go it will be more of a challenge than those 2!
They seem to be over it. I just got into bed and they decided to play on my bed… life with dogs. Who needs children! 😂
I thought I may have had my own shenanigans but my bestie didn’t get back to me after I told her I had the weekend off. I was hoping I had my own story for you!
If I don’t reply don’t think I’m rude it just means I fell asleep. Same with you @rav3n. I’m just laying here as I didn’t want to be on the lounge any longer. Oh and I had another shower. That’s 2 showers and a bath today plus a hair wash. I’m really clean now. First shower since Wednesday and first hair wash in 3 weeks
