Re: I can’t cope

I'm going to speak to my doc about reducing munchies and adding melatonin. Even though I have some tough moments sometimes, I'm in a really good place otherwise and I don't stay down. However, I won't do anything until I come back from overseas. I'm thinking of the perfect time to makes these changes. I think timing is crucial. And also, I want to make any changes realllly slowly.

I've got a lot of things going on this year, so I don't want to rock the boat too excessively @Captain24 I need to work out my life so I can work out the best time to make changes.

I'm leaving in about 3 weeks and I'll be gone for 2 weeks. Then I'll come back and tell you all about it 🙂

And no, I haven't moved any further than what I told you last time about my presentation. I'm quite chill about it but I'm not sure what I'm going to say yet.

I've had to write more and more lists lately. I've got them in 'Notes' on my phone so I can work out my day - otherwise I get all confused.

Does it get really cold where you are? Do your dogs feel the cold much?

Re: I can’t cope

I’d be so scared to change anything if I ever get stable. @tyme Timing would be crucial. Melatonin didn’t really do much for me. These new ones she has given me are for blood pressure but they help with sleep.

I have to reduce the meds once a week and it’s only a small amount. It’s going to take about 2 months if not more! I’m on a high dose. Apparently there won’t be much in the way of side effects until I get to the lower dosages.

You know me so well. I was going to ask the question.

3 weeks feels very soon. It’ll go by really quickly. I can’t wait to hear about it.

I get the lists. I’m staring to get them everywhere. It’s like my mind is confused, disordered. There is a lot going as well though.

It gets a little bit cold. It can get down to about -7 and most days it may only reach single digits. So yeah pretty cold.

Pix is reasonably ok but Jett is already cold. He needs a jumper to keep him warm.

Re: I can’t cope

I know you’re busy so I’m going to bed. I’ll talk tomorrow @tyme

Good night

Re: I can’t cope

Look, I've been debating it for a while now. I'm still not 100% convinced that I will definitely make changes, but I'm looking into it. I've always had low blood pressure, but now it's high (maybe the kids are stressing me out??? LOL)

It's good to just keep monitoring how you go with all the changes. Fingers crossed this goes well so that you Aug admission will be for therapy and not just meds!

-7 degrees is COLD! Poor babies will be cold.

I want to say more but I need to wrap up and get ready for handover @Captain24

I'll catchya tomorrow?

Re: I can’t cope

Hello my friend @Captain24 !

Re: I can’t cope

Hey @tyme. Just leaving work. I’ll be later home as I have to drive to the speed limit!!!!

Re: I can’t cope

I’m home @Jynx @tyme

I went to Woolies and it’s chaos. But I did get stuff for mum and dad for Easter.

I come home and there is a kilo of prawns in my fridge! Yay!! Now I have to peel them.. At least if got food for tomorrow. Everything I have has meat in it. I will go hungry before I eat meat on Good Friday.

Had a bit of a bad start to the morning. I was in a really light sleep and could see light on the other side of my eyelids. I was like shit.. I opened them and it was 7:08. I start work at 6:50!! Oops. I had to rush around to get there. Then I couldn’t drive fast, damn double demerits! I was so apologetic when I got to work but my boss was so ok about it. He said it happens and I’m not the first and I won’t be the last.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 ugh I am contemplating braving the shops but I don't wanna!! Sounds like not the fun kind of chaos 😵

Aww I'm glad that they were super understanding!! Stressful enough to be late without also being reprimanded hey!

Sounds like quite the feast?! 🤤😍

Re: I can’t cope

We have to get up so early after getting home late. We dont even get 12 hours off. It’s 11.5 hrs. Plus we have to drive to and from plus eat, shower, get ready to go back again and we get up

so early. So it’s understandable that it happens @Jynx

My prawns are peeled ready for lunch and then mum is making me salmon croquettes to take to work for dinner tomorrow night.

I love my Good Friday meals!

The shops should quieten down soon. But when I was working in retail the busiest day of the year was Easter Saturday!

Im guessing you’re off now but are you on on Monday?

Have a fantastic Easter (if you celebrate)

Re: I can’t cope

You mean your parents bought you prawns and put them in your fridge @Captain24 ?
