It's cooling down a bit in Melbourne

ohhh my friend , what a week !!!
Mum ended up in hospital again , this time they took her to a bigger hospital 60 kms away
she had to have surgery to remove some of her bowel which has died ,and to fix up the rest of her bowel
she was in ICU but now she is in the ward recovering
she is 85 and the doctors are happy that it all went well

@CherryBomb You mean my swim on my other thread? It was tumultous, but I made it to shore once again so all is well. I seem to get stuck in giant waves a lot and thus far I have a 100% success rate of making it back to shore - well done me I think we should probably have your salad before my dessert. I will put the dessert in the fridge over there...although on second thoughts @Former-Member mentioned something last week about how "life is uncertain, eat dessert first"...so perhaps we should do that just in case, you know, a meteor hits the earth or something

@Zoe7 Yes, I am blessed with air conditioning so I have been hibernating in my house. I know I'm going to feel it when the electricity bill comes in though!
