The Weekly Friday Feast

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

I am so sorry Karen, It expressed what I was and am feeling. I didn't think about how others would view it.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Sorry @CherryBomb, i am from central west NSW, it was 34 today, it gets really hot here.  but we are meant to have storms rolling through tomorrow, thank god, my lawns are almost dead, i have tried to eekp the water up to them, but the trees are sucking up all the water!!!!!!

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

@CherryBomb yeah I'm in SA. It's been warm here lately. Really warm, which is not fun at the farm... Really dusty. Bit scary considering it's just Spring We still have Summer to get through. We lost about 50% of the farm (paddocks only, no animals or property) to the bushfires at the start of the year, so it's a bit of a worry. You can only be so prepared...

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

i'm in SA. We've already had five days over 30

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

it's ok Jacques I understand the darkness it just frightens me and I hate knowing that others are suffering.

I soon as I saw it I knew how bad things are for you.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

We've had over 100 fires burning in Victoria this week. Two were only 5km from where my home is.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Yes i thought this pic would be better, masking how i am really feeling, i always try to put on a brave face, does not always work though

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

It's a lot of effort trying to hide how you are really feeling.

I would hate for my girls to know how things are for me. So I try to pretend I'm happy and nothing is wrong.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

I'm sorry to hear that @hiddenite

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

yes it is a heavy burden to bear, none of my family know how bad things are for me, i always try to smile, and pretend everything is ok too, mum does not even know the half of it, i spend most of my energy on watching how i act and trying to be normal, it is so hard.

I am sorry you have to pretend Karen, but i am here for you to release your feelings. you don't have to pretend with me.
