Re: Tabaluga's

yeah IDK @SmilingGecko  I got a pension card like 6 years ago, but still have to play jobseeker game all for theoretical 15hrs a week that they assessed me at.

funny since first assessed , had blood clots in lungs, put on 3 0 units  went on blood thinners and bp meds also heart meds , yet still on 15 hours ha ha ha all they have to do is make it 14 and I get like $50/week more think lol

Re: Tabaluga's

Yeah @SmilingGecko

I've been told/warned it is the busiest period for Lifeline, through til Feb.

Re: Tabaluga's

A fair approach @TAB  🙂

Re: Tabaluga's

I don't quite understand what you mean @TAB except I do know this: you can be as sick as a dog and they won't process disability pension applications easily.

Heard in the UK recently they were going into psych wards and trying to wean people off their benefits to go look for work. They don't understand how vulnerable these people are or the extent of suffering in such an acute state. Nor do they understand powerful meds can be. Thats politicians for you. They have to find other ways to reduce reliance on welfare like going after malingerers

Anyway years ago when I could work, I did. I was on casual wages. I was finally deemed by a disability employment agency to be an employment risk.
