@Arbie_wun will you marry me?!!!
Sorry, just kidding. Every song you've posted thus far has made me think, man I love this song.
You mentioned being in service, may I ask which part of the defence depth you served, or if you were a member of the police?
You have my utmost respect regardless, I'm an army brat (dad served in Vietnam) and I have intense feelings of compassion, love and respect for anyone who puts their life on the line to keep our country safe.
It disturbs me that vets are treated so poorly in the US and to a lesser degree, here in Australia.
God bless you, I salute you.

I was a Sapper, and didn't do any international service. I was an illustrator, so I got to draw, paint and take photographs etc. as a result I spent more time in training establishments than active ones.
I agree, the system is broken when it comes to all serving personnel, including emergency services. A former Army buddy who I lost touch with was a strong fit bull of a man, went to Timor and was given the Army approved Malaria medication. I saw him 12 months later and he was medically discharged because he was no longer the man I knew, he was physically half the man and had Parkinsons like symptoms.
You know you don't need to marry me.... but the thought is always a nice one! LOL
