Wow @GonePirate I'm impressed. Thanks for the encouragement re practice and repetition.
@moderator I'm not sure why this message ended up inside a trigger warning - perhaps you could fix it if @GonePirate agrees?

I wholeheartedly agree with you on that @GonePirate
I've recently really started putting in time to learn how to sew and have gone from making clothes that don't fit or are falling apart to making things that I actually wear, yet when I tell people I sewed my clothes their response is always "I could never do that, you must be talented!" but I can absolutely say I'm not, it's just been hours of work and making mistakes and watching how-to videos.
On the other hand I've always had a bit of natural talent when it comes to drawing but I've never had a consistent practice, so my skills have barely improved, and I've often been completely surpassed by others who may not have started with much natural ability but have put in the work and have become amazing artists.
And yes, happy to remove the trigger/content warning from your post as it looks like that might've been an accident, let me know 🙂

Odd placement of a trigger warning pow pow maybe cos I said I detest something like uh oh thats the educated hate hahaha
thats so cool you sew clothes and stuff I have always wanted to learn cos it would come in handy for fixing stuff or sewing patches into things or maybe getting good enough to take in pants or shorts and adjust sizes
I hear ya about the natural vs the practice I had a friend who I used to draw cartoons with in primary school like basic characters but he was pretty dang good then our 3rd friend started drawing dragon ball z characters and I remember saying wow how did you do that and he told me her pauses a recording of the tv and draws infront of it.
ok let's gooooooo
im waffling on
