Hi @212 The idea of journaling has been suggested to me in the past and I really should look into it further. I’ve been practicing mindfulness meditation for about 10 years now and there’s still some days where it’s harder than others. The idea is to focus solely on one thing and when your mind wanders, notice that and gently bring your awareness back to what your focusing on. For me it’s always my breath, feeling it as a cool sensation entering my nostrils and a warm sensation as I exhale. You can also silently repeat in and out as you breath. I like to read anything by Thich Nhat Hahn a Zen Buddhist Monk. Lots of YouTube videos of his to watch. Very calming. I love that you’ve started to collect beads and string. They come in all sorts of shapes and colours and you can create some beautiful things with them. Have fun. Smile Breathe and Go Slowly 🙏
