Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Have you managed to slip in the odd moment of self care lately @Shaz51?

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

we had our car in to be sefviced today @Former-Member

so we stayed at mum`s until from 8am to 3pm when the car was fixed , cleaned mums house and doctor and in between had morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea with mum

did pottered around her house , while chatting with mum

I think she totally enjoyed the day

when we got home Mr shaz totally needed his time

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

How did you get on today @Shaz51 ?

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hi @Shaz51 . Just checking in on you. Always a concern with your current weather up there. Wondering how your day has been today - work, apts, your mum, mr Shaz, your own health, etc. And have you got an apt at the physios for Mr Shaz yet?

Hi @Former-Member @Janiee @Determined @Appleblossom   I see that some of you are checking on our very special Shaz too. Hope you are all ok.

Sherry

Hello @Former-Member , @Former-Member HeartHeart

wow , have had two very big days , sooo tired now

yesterday

we cleaned in the morning

and then at lunch at home , the power went out in half of the town , so we turned off the lights and fans on our way out

took mum up to the specialist 60 kms away , waited , saw the specialist -- he wants to do another mayor surgery but wants to do all the tests first before going ahead

Mr shaz waited in the car -- too stressful in the waiting room

it rained soo hard on the way home another 60 kms , could not even see the road in front of us

got home at 6-30pm , leftovers for dinner and we forgot to turn the aircon off when we left

today

we could not get to do the regular cleaning jobs today due to the roads cut by water

had to take mum to hospital in soo much pain

been at the hospital until 1-30pm when the ambulance took her to the big hospital 60kms away

Mr shaz mowed one lawn in the morning and we mowed one lawn this afternoon

it is raining so heavy now that we will take mum`s bag up tomorrow

no pysio appt yet

no Mental health appt yet

see what the doctors say about mum tomorrow

have to make appt for me for a blood test to see the endocrinologist

ohhhhhhhh

Whew, take care @Shaz51 . That's all a bit too full on.
